My main purpose on this forum is to educate and offer tips and suggestions to help you protect your personal information. I initially got involved in this subject after seeing a friend go through countless hours and hundreds of dollars trying to "clear" her name. As time went on, it seemed the agencies who were supposed to help simply passed her case onto someone else. Does this sound familiar? vj05 from floridaThe Florida DMV issued another person my same DL#. This is a mistake that they made years ago and should have been corrected. Now I have been having proublems since 2008 finding a job because this person's felonies, misdemeanors, and driving record is under my DL#, SS# and name. I have been trying since 2008 to get this cleared up and each time i'm told over and over that it will be just to find out a month or so later that I'm once again denied a job because of this person's criminal record being under my name! I have filed police reports, fraud and identity theft claims, had my fingerprints taken, etc all with no solution to this problem. I just received a LETTER OF SUSPENSION today saying my DL will be suspended on the 31st for failure to pay parking tickets in a county I NEVER livedin or visited, its the county this other person lives in. My life has been a financial and emotional rollercoaster because of this, contacting lawyers and numerour agencies seeking help but no one can help me. How can I file a legal complaint agianst the DMV for ruining my identity? |

And now I believe that they are listening to my phone so I'm here to see what I can do to prove to the authorities that this is going on and to lean if there are any preventive measures that I can employ to stop this. |
